কুষ্টিয়ায় পৃথক স্থান থেকে দুই নারীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ

কুষ্টিয়ায় পৃথক স্থান থেকে দুই নারীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। বুধবার (৬ আগস্ট) সকালে সদর উপজেলার কোটপাড়ার বারো শরিফ দরবার এলাকা থেকে একজনের এবং মিরপুর উপজেলার হাসপাতালের পাশের পরিত্যক্ত জায়গা থেকে আরেকজনের মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়। তবে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে তাদের পরিচয় শনাক্ত করা যায়নি বলে জানিয়েছে পুলিশ।

এ বিষয়ে কুষ্টিয়া মডেল থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) মোশারফ হোসেন বলেন, আজ সকাল ১০টার স্থানীয়দের দেওয়া সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে ঘটনাস্থল থেকে এক নারী মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়। প্রাথমিকভাবে নিহতের শরীরে কোনো আঘাতের চিহ্ন পাওয়া যায়নি। এটি হত্যাকাণ্ড নাকি অন্য কিছু তা খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে।

ওসি মোশারফ অরো বলেন, পরিচয় শনাক্ত করার জন্য আশপাশের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বার্তা পাঠানো হয়েছে এবং স্থানীয়দের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করা হচ্ছে।

এদিকে আজ বেলা সাড়ে ১১দিকে মিরপুর উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের গ্যারেজের পেছন থেকে পানিতে ভাসমান অবস্থায় আরো এক নারীর গলিত মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ। স্থানীয়দের দেওয়া সংবাদের ভিত্তিতে ওই নারীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে পুলিশ।

বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করে মিরপুর থানার ওসি মোমিনুল ইসলাম জানান, মিরপুর উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য কমপ্লেক্সের গ্যারেজের পেছন থেকে মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। তবে তার পরিচয় এবং কীভাবে তাকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে তা জানা যায়নি। এ বিষয়ে কাজ করছে পুলিশ।

এদিকে দুই নারীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য কুষ্টিয়া জেনারেল হাসপাতালের মর্গে পাঠানো হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন পৃথক থানার কর্মকর্তারা।
